Courteney Cox has a lot on her plate. The former Friends star executive-produces the ABC sitcom Cougar Town, supports a charity for children and is mom to daughter, Coco. However, she is never too busy to help out charity and others in need. Cox’s close friend has a child with the rare genetic skin disorder known as Epidermolysis Bullosa. Cox, her estranged husband David Arquette, and best friend, Jennifer Aniston sit on the charity’s advisory board at the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation. Recently Cox said in an interview, “Whatever I can do to ever get the word out about this, I like to get involved.” (Patients who have the disease develop large, painful boils and blisters all over their bodies.) Cox’s dedication to raise awareness about this little known disease affecting children makes her our DoGooder of the Week!
