“Questions of how can I make a difference or how to solve hunger are overwhelming,” says Elliot. “That’s why I encourage people to get their hands in the soil or feed people at a food kitchen; throw yourself in there. The best way to understand the complexity and the largeness of an issue is to put your head down and work together to affect change.”

“Recycling trash isn’t enough,” explains Craig. “As a family, we made the decision to go as green as possible, even down to the clothes we wore.”

“No matter where you come from or what your background is, it doesn’t matter. You are not what is around you,” Meyler affirms. “Even if you’re young, the world can’t afford to wait on you to grow up to make an impact. Making a difference is what defines you.”

“I loved the challenge of creating a business out of nothing,” recounts Harris. “I wanted to get out there, buy a truck, a warehouse and start creating jobs at a time when everyone was losing work.”
